Meet Our Lead Clinician
 

Our founder, NP Luciano (age 6 in the photo to the left), has been dedicated to the healthcare industry for over 20 years. With a passion for nursing from a young age, she has become an accomplished Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and is incredibly honored to be providing mental health care to her patients. We believe that everyone deserves access to exceptional care, and we are proud to offer our services to those in need.

Angelica Luciano

Angelica Luciano, ARNP is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving patients throughout California utilizing tele-health to offer comfortable visits in your home, it is her goal to make psychiatric care accessible, comfortable, non-judgmental and authentic. 

 

NP Luciano treats common psychiatric conditions including anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder, mood disorders such as major depressive disorder and attention deficit disorder and uses multiple modalities, including medication management, mindfulness, education,  and supportive talk therapy  to treat you as a unique individual and not a text-book. She uses bio-psycho-social framework. Understanding that psychiatric illnesses may have biological causes, like thyroid problems, the effects of certain medications, or genetic predisposition. Psychiatric conditions may also have psychological causes, such as the lack of coping tools/skills, difficulty processing experiences and situations, or adverse early childhood events. Last, but not least, psychiatric conditions may have sociological explanations: overwhelming expectations of one’s environment, including occupational/educational stress or changes in your environment. 

 

NP Luciano is a graduate of Gonzaga University and has been a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 6 years. She has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, beginning her professional journey as an Emergency Medical Technician in the United States Air Force. She completed her bachelors of Nursing at Indiana State University before becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

 

NP Luciano has a passion for providing care to a diverse population with a particular interest in working with health care professionals, military veterans, families of military members, and former foster youth. 

 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her animal family (Parrots, Dogs, Ducks, Snakes, and a Mini Pig). She loves animals and you can ask to visit one of her animal companions at your appointment, or include your animals, you may find this helps reduce your anxiety and relax during your sessions. 

 

NP Luciano is dedicated to helping her patients to achieve optimal holistic wellness and to lead active, meaningful  and fulfilling lives.
